Whether you're looking to grow your brand awareness or to drive and convert customers into leads, developing an effective strategy will hone crucial marketing messages and help you achieve your goals.
I'm well versed in putting together creative and marketing strategies for startups and small business. Some of my work has been for print and online publications, websites, events and physical gallery spaces.
Need a content strategy? Need content created? Whether it's experiential, articles or blogs, photography, video or website copy; I've got you covered.
Let's talk about your needs and how we can optimise your content strategy to drive exposure, subscribers, SEO, web traffic or sales - whatever your goal or end game might be. It's time to get the inbound marketing funnel working for your business.
If you're after printed content and collateral I'm well versed in the independent publishing and print space. On the right is the cover of a street zine I edited and produced for several years. Print hasn't died, it's merely adapted and colluded with digital.
I create relationships with content (information), community (people) and commerce (business).
I am able to engage and grow a company’s audience and engage their community by using a range of tried and tested marketing tactics and strategies. These include creating, planning and executing high profile digital campaigns and physical in-person events or activations.
In my recent role, at General Assembly, I have created, planned, marketed and executed over 200 events with attendee numbers in the 100’s, with some of the biggest names in the industry. I have also curated a vast number of classes and workshops taught by industry leaders and experts in their field to encourage our community to get engaged with the brand.
I can help your company/product/service reach a wider audience through a range of strategic community engagements, exposing your brand to a wider consumer space. To break it down, I can get your brand in front of a lot of people and can engage and nurture your community into leads.
I'm a hobbyist photographer now, but once thought it would be my career. I studied a diploma in photography, film and video at Whitecliffe College of Art & Design.
Photography remains to play a role in my life still. You can now see me walking around with either a Canon 550D, 35mm analogue film, the Instax polaroid or a Diana Lomography camera which takes 120mm film (most of the photos on this website have come from the Diana).
At The Urban List Melbourne, I was enlisted as their local photographer and one of their contributing writers when the online publication first launched in 2013.
If I can integrate my own snap-happy tendencies into a project, it brings much joy. So I try to do so when I can.
Need website copy, social media and blog content written? Need a press release, interview or article whipped into shape? Send a brief my way!
I've been the project lead on a number of website design and development projects over the past six years.
I'm able to interact with the various stakeholders involved; clients, designers, developers and marketers to deliver a web project within scope and budget using an Agile methodology.
Having completed the User Experience Design course at General Assembly, I am able to add these skills and competencies to my resume; including user research, prototyping, quality assurance and testing to name a few.
I've looked after the social media strategy and content creation for The Urban List Melbourne, General Assembly Melbourne, Creative Mornings Melbourne, Inspire9 Coworking and The Dream Factory.
I'm available to shape your high-level social media content strategy and execute the content required to acquire, inspire, retain and engage your audience.
Video / Animation
I've produced and directed a few animations whilst studying photography and video in New Zealand.
One was a music video for kiwi band Pie Warmer's song called "I Broke All The Rules" and was a finalist for New Zealand's Handle the Jandal DIY music video awards 2009.
